Travel and Transportation
At Health Cab & Co, travel is about more than just getting from A to B — it’s about feeling safe, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way. Our dedicated care workers are trained not just to drive, but to genuinely support you, whether that means helping you get to a medical appointment on time, joining you for a visit to family, or simply being a friendly, reassuring presence on the trip.
We work closely with providers and support coordinators to make sure we have the right information about your required supports, so every trip is handled with care and consideration from the moment it’s booked. Our team is also on hand to help with transfers, making sure you get the assistance you need getting in, out, and settled for the journey.
We support both NDIS participants and aged care clients, and our services stretch from everyday local trips right through to long-distance medical transport across Queensland. We also love helping you get out and enjoy life — day trips, outings, concerts, or a music festival with friends. And because we know pets are family too, your furry companions are always welcome to come along for the ride.
Short-Term Accommodation
Looking to get away for some short-term accommodation (STA)? Health Cab & Co can be there with you every step of the way. While we don’t provide the accommodation itself, we offer a dedicated support worker to accompany you during your stay, along with access to our wheelchair accessible vehicle to help you get around and make the most of your time away.
Whether you’re exploring a new town, taking in local attractions, or simply enjoying a change of scenery, our team is there to provide the same genuine care and support you’d expect at home — just in a different setting. We’re happy to travel with you wherever your STA takes you.
