What accreditations do you have?
Health Cab & Co is a fully NDIS registered provider, with all relevant insurances and certifications in place. Our staff hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent), a current Police Check, Blue Card, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, along with CPR and First Aid certification. You can feel confident you’re in safe, qualified hands.
Are you a taxi?
No—we’re something more. Rather than just a ride, we provide a wheelchair-accessible vehicle along with full personal support for the whole journey, whether that’s a short trip across town or a longer medical transfer, such as our regular runs between Hervey Bay Hospital, Bundaberg, and as far as the Gold Coast.
What do you charge?
As an aged care and NDIS registered provider, our charges follow currant pricing arrangements, and we invoice participants through their plan managers and providers. Everything is handled simply and transparently through invoicing.
When are you available?
We’re here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year—because care and transport needs don’t stick to a schedule, and neither do we.
